SYF2021 Virtual Art Exhibition
The SYF2021 Virtual Art Exhibition, part of the Singapore Youth Festival, showcases students' artistic talents and promotes art appreciation in schools. This year's theme, 'Artist and Technology', invited student artists to explore the impact of technology on their lives. Over 3,500 students submitted more than 500 artworks, emphasizing the responsible use of technology. The virtual exhibition, a first for SYF, features over 260 selected artworks set in a 360-degree immersive experience at the National Gallery Singapore.
Held annually, the exhibition fosters dialogues on ideas, inspirations, and art processes among student artists and audiences. It serves as a platform for students to communicate effectively and become self-directed learners. The collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the National Gallery Singapore enhances art education by offering a unique digital showcase of young artists' voices and expressions.
